Kod nombor E adalah kod nombor untuk bahan tambahan makanan dan biasanya terdapat pada label makanan sepanjang Kesatuan Eropah. “E” bermaksud “Eropah” atau “Kesatuan Eropah”. Biasanya setiap aditif makanan diberikan a Bilangan unik, walaupun kadang kala, bahan tambahan yang berkaitan diberikan lanjutan (“a”, “b”, atau “i” “ii”) ke nombor E yang lain.
Sejak berada di negara orang ni, bila beli barang akan perhatikan kod yang tertera pada bungkusan kerana di sini agak terhad produk yang tertera ‘halal’ walaupun majoriti rakyatnya beragama Islam.
